Bonding

Bonding is a catchall phrase that encompasses a process that utilizes a tooth colored epoxy called Composite. This material is sculpted, cured via a special light, and polished to blend in with the surrounding tooth. It can be used to repair broken teeth, close gaps between teeth and cover those sensitive areas around the gum line.

It is also used as a filling material in place of silver amalgam, once the decay has been removed from the tooth.
